Director of PMO & Turnaround Office Support
Summary
This role will support the governance and execution of the UK Turnaround Office, partnering with Operating Units, Extended Leadership Team (ELT), and Executive stakeholders to drive priority workstreams.
The ideal candidate will embody strong PMO discipline, demonstrate advanced Excel and modelling capabilities, and excel at distilling complex issues into clear, actionable insights. They must command confidence and credibility—able to engage effectively with senior stakeholders while remaining highly organised, analytical, and collaborative.
This opportunity offers exposure to end-to-end business functions and cross-functional networking at all levels within PepsiCo.
Key Duties
Core Governance & Execution
- Manage PMO governance routines, meeting cadence, action tracking, and follow-ups
- Prepare clear updates, governance materials, and decision papers for ELT and Executive sponsors
- Track progress, risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, and owner accountability across priority workstreams
- Maintain project plans, risk loggers, timelines, decision logs, and governance documents
- Build Excel models, trackers, dashboards, and PowerPoint packs to support strategic decision-making

Workstream Coordination
- Translate multi-team inputs into concise, decision-ready insights
- Engage in strategic pillars to ensure delivery, unblock delays, and keep workstreams on track
Stakeholder & Workstream Integration
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, functional teams, and project owners
- Clarify ambiguities, surface risks early, and advocate for decisive action
- Assist project owners in defining scope, milestones, benefits, risks, and required support
- Dive deep into details—whether building trackers, chasing actions, or solving blockers
Flexible Leadership & Strategic Alignment
- Lead or support additional initiatives as directed by the UK Strategy & Transformation leadership team, aligned to UK Executive priorities
Requirements
Skills & Mindset
✔ Strategic mindset with a highly analytical approach and meticulous attention to detail ✔ Proven project management experience (preferably in strategy, transformation, PMO, finance, operations, or commercial roles) ✔ Experience supporting governance forums, steering committees, or executive-level decisions ✔ Advanced Excel proficiency (structured modelling, trackers, and data analysis) ✔ Skilled in PowerPoint and Word for senior-ready briefings, governance documents, and updates ✔ Ability to manage ambiguity while balancing competing priorities—ensuring progress and alignment across interconnected initiatives ✔ Problem-solver with a bias for action and can-do attitude; willing to dig into detail where needed ✔ Strong stakeholder influence, communication, and collaboration skills—able to unify teams and functions ✔ Ability to build rapid trust with a people-first approach

Advantageous Backgrounds
✔ Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, or high-speed commercial environments ✔ Prior roles in PMO, transformation offices, turnaround initiatives, or as a Chief of Staff ✔ Project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMP)
