Project Manager

Project Manager – Launch & Expansion (On-site, London)

Location: London Contract: 12-month fixed term Working Model: On-site (London only) Rate: £370–£508 per day (depending on experience)


About the Role

Join our high-performing Launch & Expansion team as a Project Manager tasked with designing, developing, and optimising one of the most complex delivery networks in Europe.

You’ll work alongside a collaborative team of strategists, engineers, and operations specialists who drive innovative infrastructure solutions, capacity planning, and data-driven decision-making— Fokus involves building new sites, upgrading existing facilities, enhancing operational performance, and enabling sustainable long-term growth.

Junior developers, technologists, and engineers are breaking the mold across our London HQ, York Logistics Hub, and portfolio of other future-thinking sites.


Key Responsibilities

Project & Portfolio Management

  • Manage a portfolio of infrastructure and optimisation projects across the UK and Ireland, from warehouse retrofits and office upgrades to strategic capacity initiatives and EV-ready fleet infrastructure
  • Deliver projects end-to-end, acting as the single point of ownership for timelines, budgets, and quality standards

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with engineering, design & construction, operations, finance, and real estate teams to align technical, commercial, and logistical objectives
  • Work with senior stakeholders to define project scope, prioritise tasks, and ensure alignment with broader business strategy

Planning & Strategy

  • Develop business cases and strategy documents for senior leadership approval, leveraging data to support decision-making
  • Lead permitting and compliance processes, ensuring all projects adhere to regulatory requirements

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Drive standardisation and automation of project workflows to reduce cycle times and improve efficiency
  • Audit and achieve repeatable processes across operational and construction phases

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Utilise data and key performance indicators to assess requirements, measure success, and drive continuous improvement
  • Use advanced metrics to monitor site performance and capex requirements, identifying opportunities for optimisation

Stakeholder Communication

  • Communicate effectively with executives, cross-functional teams, and external partners to ensure transparency and alignment

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven project management expertise, including experience managing multiple projects end-to-end
  • Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel (including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs)
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, working seamlessly with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience defining program requirements and using metrics to drive operational improvements
  • Exposure to process standardisation, automation, or repeatable workflow systems
  • Understanding of construction, logistics infrastructure, or operational efficiency improvements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
