Role: Delivery Project Manager- Build contracts ( Industrial / Logistics) - Sizewell C Nuclear Power Station project
Location: Sizewell C site nr Leiston, Suffolk (IP16 4EJ)
Salary: £72500 - £82500 + benefits including 10% bonus, 28 days holiday (30 days after 5 years), 15% client pension contribution + flexible benefits package
Start: August 2026 onwards
About the Role
Morson Edge are looking for an experienced Project Manager with proven experience in the successful delivery of warehouses and/or logistics parks, as well as an understanding of RIBA stages to work as Delivery Project Manager supporting their client's multi-billion pound Sizewell C nuclear power station construction project. This role will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of the whole lifecycle of the rebar yard on the ACA.
The role will be based at the client's Sizewell C site nr Leiston, Suffolk (IP16 4EJ) 4 days/week with the rest worked from home.
Candidates will be required to obtain nuclear site security clearance for this role.
Based within the Main Site Delivery Team at SZC, the Delivery Project Manager will be responsible for leading the design, procurement, and construction delivery of a defined infrastructure package, focused on industrial buildings and associated external works. Managing the full project lifecycle, you'll ensure delivery is safe, on time, on budget, and to the required quality standards.
Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, you will take ownership of contract delivery and lead multi-disciplinary teams across complex construction activities.

- Large-scale industrial buildings and warehouse-type facilities
- Structural steel frame construction and heavy-duty floor slabs
- External works and civils, including drainage, hardstanding and logistics yards
- Integration of mechanical handling systems (e.g. cranes) into building design
- Interfaces with site-wide infrastructure and logistics operations
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver procurement strategies, including defining Employer's Requirements
- Lead tendering, evaluation, and award of Design & Build contracts
- NEC3 or 4 and experience in the delivery of either warehouses or logistics parks or JCT
- Manage contractor performance across programme, cost, and quality
- Ensure designs are buildable, cost-effective, and aligned to programme
- Coordinate interfaces with suppliers, contractors, and surrounding works
- Oversee large-scale industrial construction including buildings and external works
- Manage risk, change, and budget (incl. reporting to stakeholders)
- Lead and support delivery teams, including Assistant Project Managers
- Ensure effective stakeholder engagement across internal and external parties
Project Scope
- Contracts ranging from £250k to £150m
- Delivery of industrial buildings, warehouses, roads, utilities, and logistics areas
- Leadership of small teams and coordination with large contractor workforces
Key Skills and Experience
Essential
- Proven experience delivering large industrial or logistics facilities
- Familiarity with NEC and/or FIDIC contracts
- Interface management experience between design, planning and construction
- Strong background in Design & Build contract procurement and delivery
- Experience across design, procurement, and construction phases
- Knowledge of structural steel, heavy-duty slabs, and external works
- Experience managing contractors in complex, regulated environments
- Strong understanding of cost, programme, risk, and change control
- Degree-qualified and ideally professionally chartered

Desirable
- Experience in nuclear or highly regulated sectors
- Knowledge of CDM regulations and nuclear quality standards
- Experience with crane systems or mechanical handling integration
- Background in logistics hubs or manufacturing facilities
Additional Information
Individuals resident in the UK on a VISA will be happily considered, and sponsorship can be offered for the right candidate
For the right candidate, our client can offer a salary of up to £82500 along with an outstanding benefits package including 10% bonus, 15% client pension contribution, 28 days holiday (rising to 30 after 5 years) and a strong flexible benefits package.
