At WSP, you can always find opportunities to grow and do what matters to you. Make the most of our global reach to discover new challenges and work with diverse, talented individuals who will help you expand your horizons.

About the Role

Due to the scale of work required for AMP8, we are looking for experienced and committed individuals to join our Water team. This role will sit within the Asset Management team and involve collaboration with our multidisciplinary technical teams.

As a Project Manager within the Asset Management team, you will work on a range of infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects across various clients in the water industry and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Project Management:

    • Manage project proposals, including determining requirements, scope, resources, programmes, and cost estimates (budgets).
    • Oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, control, and completion of defined projects or work packages.
    • Lead and develop multidisciplinary project teams, championing high-quality delivery and promoting a focus on health and safety.
  • Commercial Accountability:

    • Own the profit and loss (P&L), with commercial and financial accountability—including revenue delivery, margin management, budgeting, forecasting, risk/opportunity assessments, cost controls, accounts payable/billing, and cash collection.
  • Documentation & Compliance:

    • Develop project management documentation, such as plans, cost forecasts, risk registers, schedules, stakeholder registers, and project organisation charts.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
