Project Manager
Project Manager - Special Projects Division
Location: London & Home Counties
Salary: Up to £120,000 + Comprehensive Package
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established, award-winning main contractor within its growing Special Projects division.
This role offers the chance to lead a diverse portfolio of technically challenging projects, delivering high-quality schemes across:
- Refurbishment
- Remediation
- Structural alterations
- Fit-out
- Fire safety works
- Façade improvements
- Complex works within occupied residential and mixed-use environments
Working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams, you will take full responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to successful completion, ensuring delivery on programme, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of multiple Special Projects valued from approximately £2m–£30m.
- Manage programmes, budgets, procurement, and commercial performance.
- Coordinate design development and technical solutions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
- Identify and manage project risks, implementing practical solutions where required.
- Drive programme performance while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
About You
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a recognised main contractor.
- Strong background delivering refurbishment, remediation, structural alterations, or complex construction projects.
- Experience working within occupied buildings is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially aware with a strong understanding of project delivery.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams within fast-paced environments.
- Degree qualified or equivalent, with relevant construction qualifications.
