Role: Project Manager

Are you a Project Manager looking for your next opportunity? Then this opportunity cannot be missed! I’m currently representing a leading Engineering and Manufacturing company based in Manchester and they’re looking for a Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis due to growth in the business.
Job Description
- Lead rail projects from cradle to grave, ensuring they meet budget, programme, quality, and customer requirements.
- Work collaboratively to improve performance by promoting safe working practices, efficient processes, and continuous improvement.
- Understand and interpret contractual requirements, coordinated resources, and engaged stakeholders to deliver technically sound and compliant project outcomes.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by preparing quotations, supporting tender submissions, and driving commercial growth.
- Monitor costs, maintained compliance with company policies and UK health and safety legislation, and encouraged a high-performance culture across project teams.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Experience managing a range of high and low voltage rail installation projects, including substations, transformer replacements, etc.
- Experienced delivering electrical works in trackside and depot environments.
- Obtains relevant electrical qualifications to a minimum of NVQ Level 3.
- Strong electrical background to deliver safe, high-quality installations across varied rail infrastructure projects.
- Contributed to business development by building client relationships and identifying opportunities to expand the existing customer base.
