Sphere Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a key client for an experienced Project Manager / Senior Site Manager to lead a £30 million commercial project in Leeds.
The project consists of the construction of a 131-bedroom hotel, including a fast-track single-storey rooftop extension and the construction of a new stairwell, delivered under a traditional form of contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor on a prestigious project, where you will be the No.1 on site, taking full responsibility for the successful delivery of the programme.

The Role
- Overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site.
- Lead the project safely, on programme and within budget.
- Act as the main point of contact on site, maintaining strong relationships with the end client and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate subcontractors, site teams and suppliers.
- Ensure all works are completed to the highest standards of quality.
- Maintain site health & safety and ensure compliance with company procedures.
- Drive the construction programme and proactively resolve any on-site issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager delivering large commercial construction projects.
- Previous experience as the No.1 on site.
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Valid SMSTS
- Valid First Aid at Work
- Valid CSCS Card
