Position Overview:
Cube Metals Ltd is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the construction or fabrication industries, excellent leadership abilities, and a keen eye for detail. As a Project Manager at Cube Metals Ltd, you will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be required to work 1 -2 days each week at our office in Hitchin and spend the remaining 3 – 4 days on various site liaising with clients and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Conduct risk assessments, method statements and establish mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other relevant parties to ensure project requirements are fully understood and documented.
- Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules and milestones.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Provide clear direction, support, and feedback to team members.
- Resolve conflicts and issues promptly to maintain project momentum.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status.
- Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and Company Directors.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records.
- Ensure all project deliverables are met and approved by clients.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee the handover of completed projects to clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any final concerns.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the structural steel and architectural metalwork industry.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, processes, and tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
