Location: This is a hybrid role, offering a combination of being able to work in one of our offices in the UK (Corby, Manchester or Warrington), or Latvia (Riga), and remotely

The Opportunity
Join our Global Shared Business Services (GSBS) team and play a pivotal role in driving global transformation across the RS Group. As a Project Manager, you’ll lead high-impact Order to Cash (O2C) harmonisation and optimisation initiatives that shape how our business operates worldwide.
You’ll guide cross-functional teams, influence global stakeholders, and ensure we deliver scalable, standardised, and sustainable solutions that elevate operational excellence across markets. This is an exciting opportunity for a delivery-focused, collaborative Project Manager who thrives in complex, international environments.
What You Will Be Doing
- Leading end-to-end delivery of global O2C harmonisation, optimisation, and stabilisation projects
- Embedding new ways of working, resolving root-cause issues, and ensuring operational readiness for scale
- Defining project scope, success measures, and realistic delivery plans alongside global process owners and market teams
- Managing cross-functional project teams (8–15 contributors) including Solution Architects, BAs, SMEs, Developers, and Change specialists
- Facilitating workshops, design sessions, and problem-solving forums to accelerate decision-making
- Identifying risks, dependencies, and constraints, and proactively driving mitigation
- Ensuring accurate governance, documentation, and reporting aligned with RS standards
- Supporting adoption of new processes and tools through structured change management and stakeholder engagement
- Monitoring benefits realisation to ensure improvements are embedded post go-live
- Building strong relationships across GSBS, markets, and technology teams to drive alignment and operational excellence

What You’ll Bring
Essential:
- Proven experience delivering business change through structured project management across multiple initiatives in a Shared Service Centre environment
- End-to-end project management experience from within a complex matrix organisation
- Experience with methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across global regions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence engaging all levels of the business
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships across cultures and functions
- Effective team facilitation skills with the ability to motivate contributors of varying levels
- Solid understanding of shared service operating models, service transition, and process standardisation
- Experience managing process migrations across multiple geographies
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and navigate complex issues effectively
- Natural curiosity and a drive to learn and adopt best practice
- Experience working within a software delivery or technology-enabled transformation environment
- Strong planning, organisation, coaching, and constructive challenge skills
- Fluent written and spoken English
Desirable:
- Experience in complex, international project environments
- MSP Practitioner certification
- Experience negotiating with and managing third-party partners
- Additional language skills
Qualifications:
- Certified Project Management qualification (APM, Prince2, MSP, Agile – essential)
- Change Management certification (e.g., PROSCI – desirable)
