Mace is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of a major sterile manufacturing facility expansion within a highly regulated GMP environment.

The successful candidate will provide technical engineering leadership throughout design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover phases, ensuring engineering solutions are safe, compliant, operationally effective, and aligned with project objectives.

Working within a multidisciplinary project team, you will coordinate engineering activities across facilities, utilities, and process infrastructure, supporting delivery from concept through to qualification and operational readiness.

You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Supporting project delivery through established project governance and stage-gate processes.
  • Developing and managing user requirement specifications (URS), design specifications, P&IDs, layouts, and technical documentation.
  • Managing technical reviews and providing design assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Managing engineering interfaces with design consultants, contractors, equipment vendors, and site stakeholders.
  • Providing technical governance for equipment procurement, installation, and integration activities.
  • Supporting construction delivery through resolution of technical queries, change control processes, and deviation management.
  • Coordinating commissioning readiness activities, including mechanical completion verification and system boundary definition.
  • Participating in safety reviews, risk assessments, HAZOPs, and engineering assurance processes.
  • Ensuring engineering activities comply with project standards, quality requirements, and EHS expectations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
