Facilities Manager – EV Charging Infrastructure
Location: UK-wide (hubs possible) Client: Rapidly growing player in green infrastructure and energy transition

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Network Operations, you’ll oversee the day-to-day facilities management of live EV charging sites, maintaining safety, compliance, operation, and standards across a growing national estate.
Key Responsibilities
• Facilities Operations & Maintenance
- Manage the operational readiness of EV charging sites across the UK.
- Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance with landlords under SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
- Oversee third-party contractors and service providers, ensuring safe, on-time delivery and compliance.
- Monitor Site Partners’ adherence to lease agreements and contractual obligations.

• Site Standards & Asset Care
- Uphold consistent facilities, safety, accessibility, and presentation standards.
- Schedule and execute site inspections, audits, and condition surveys, tracking remedial actions.
- Manage signage, bay markings, lighting, fencing, and surrounding environments.
- Oversee minor repairs, asset replacements, and new-site onboarding procedures.
• Compliance & Health & Safety
- Ensure compliance with UK health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
- Monitor contractors’ Risk Assessments (RAMS), permits, and access protocols.
- Identify, escalate, and mitigate safety hazards, defects, and compliance risks.
- Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Stakeholder & Client Management
- Act as the primary operational contact for site hosts, landlord agents, and facilities teams.
- Coordinate site access, permits, and works scheduling with landlords and occupiers.
- Resolve landlord operational issues and complaints to satisfaction.
- Implement revenue-generating initiatives from customer experience teams.
• Performance & Reporting
- Track site availability, asset performance, and KPIs against targets.
- Maintain accurate records of facilities and assets.
- Produce regular operational and performance reports (internal + external).

• Contract & Commercial Management
- Ensure partner obligations meet contractual terms.
- Assist in annual budgeting and monthly operational tracking.
What You’ll Need
Essential
- Proven experience in facilities management, property operations, or multi-site asset/contract management.
- Hands-on expertise in contract management, SLAs, and third-party coordination.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety, compliance, and building services.
- Excellent stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage dispersed sites efficiently.
- UK driving licence (required).
Desirable
- Experience with electrical or energy infrastructure.
- Knowledge of EV charging systems or critical infrastructure.
- Familiarity with asset management systems (e.g.,FM software).
- Certifications like IOSH/NEBOSH.
