Join Our Team as a Project Officer – Minor New Works and Rattle at Aspire Defence Services Limited (ADSL)

Salary: Up to £TBC per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, no weekends
Location: Aspire Business Centre, Tidworth

Aspire Defence Services Limited (ADSL) is seeking a passionate and results-driven Project Officer – Minor New Works and Rattle to be part of our exciting journey. This role is key to delivering Minor New Works projects and coordinating decant activities, ensuring temporary accommodation, transport, and storage solutions meet operational needs in a cost-effective and compliant manner.

Your Role:

  • Delivering Minor New Works and decant projects from initial scoping through to completion, ensuring compliance with agreed scope, time, cost, and quality standards
  • Coordinating temporary accommodation, transport, and storage solutions to support operational decant requirements effectively
  • Managing subcontractors, site activities, and safety processes including method statements and risk assessments to ensure full compliance
  • Engaging with stakeholders, customers, and internal teams to ensure alignment and effective project delivery
  • Ensuring all works comply with health, safety, environmental, and construction regulations, promoting a strong safety culture
  • Managing project financials, reporting progress, risks, and performance while maintaining accurate documentation and governance standards

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications:

  • You will hold an industry-recognised qualification in Engineering, Building Services, Project Management or Facilities Management, along with a valid UK driving licence

Experience:

  • You will have experience in project and site management within construction, engineering or facilities management environments, with strong understanding of construction design and management regulations, building regulations, and customer management

Skills:

  • You will demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a fast-paced workload, deliver high-quality customer service, and effectively use Microsoft Office applications

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of project management, site management, construction design and management regulations, and building regulations
  • Experience in customer management and delivering projects within construction, engineering or facilities management environments
  • Comprehensive IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Desirable:

  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme certification
  • Experience working within a Ministry of Defence or military environment
  • Experience in small works scope writing and specifying, and familiarity with Integrated Financial Systems

Skills:

  • Commitment to health and safety with a focus on achieving zero harm
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to deliver high-quality services
  • Ability to identify risks and opportunities and deliver cost-effective solutions
