Circa £55,000 + Benefits
Sphere Solutions are working with a civil engineering contractor to recruit an experienced Project Planner to join their growing operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project programmes using Microsoft Project
- Produce NEC4-compliant programmes
- Prepare tender-stage programmes to support competitive bid submissions
- Monitor project progress and update programmes throughout delivery
- Identify critical path activities, project risks and programme constraints
- Carry out delay analysis and assess the impact of compensation events
- Develop resource-loaded programmes to improve labour, plant and resource planning
- Attend project sites across the UK as required

About You
- Previous experience as a Planner within a civil engineering or infrastructure contractor
- Strong working knowledge of NEC4 contracts and programme management
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and advanced Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites across the UK
- Marine, coastal, piling or heavy civil engineering background is desirable
- Knowledge of Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6
