4D Planner (Digital Construction)
Manchester (3 days per week in office, flexible thereafter)
£45,000 - £60,000 + Life Insurance + Pension + Benefits
Are you a 4D Planner or Digital Engineer looking to work on some of the UK’s most complex infrastructure programmes, using cutting-edge digital tools to influence construction before it even reaches site?
This is an opportunity to join a specialist digital consultancy operating at the forefront of construction innovation. Working across major UK infrastructure programmes, you will support project teams by rehearsing and validating construction methodologies through 4D sequencing, giving you a highly visible and technically varied role.

You will combine project controls expertise with advanced digital solutions including 4D simulation, digital twins, and AI-enabled reporting. The position offers excellent exposure to large-scale programmes while allowing you to develop within a forward-thinking environment that is shaping the future of digital construction.
The Role:
- Deliver 4D planning and simulation across major infrastructure programmes
- Support project teams in validating construction sequencing before site execution
- Work with BIM models and integrate them with planning schedules
- Utilise tools such as Navisworks and Synchro Pro for simulation and analysis
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a consultancy environment

The Person:
- Background in BIM, Digital Engineering, or Planning
- Strong experience using Primavera P6
- Proficient with 3D models and 4D simulation tools such as Navisworks or Synchro
- Experience working on infrastructure or large construction projects
- Looking to develop within a forward-thinking digital consultancy
