Forensic Project Planner

Remote | Occasional UK & European Travel | £800 per day | Freelance Contract

Help Solve the Industry's Most Complex Project Challenges

We're representing a specialist contractor with annual revenues exceeding €1 billion, renowned for delivering some of Europe's most complex mission-critical construction projects.

Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Forensic Project Planner on a freelance basis to support high-value projects through detailed programme analysis, delay investigations and expert planning support.

If you enjoy getting to the root cause of programme issues, building robust delay analyses and influencing commercial outcomes, this is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside industry-leading project and commercial teams.

The Role

You'll provide forensic planning expertise across a portfolio of major mission-critical developments, supporting live projects as well as claims, disputes and project recovery initiatives. Working remotely for the majority of the time, you'll travel to project sites and stakeholder meetings when required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
