Project Procurement Manager – Siemens Mobility
At Siemens Mobility, we believe our people are the cornerstone of our success. We are committed to nurturing a supportive and inclusive environment where every team member can thrive. Join our global community, where your growth and development are as important as our shared mission to innovate and transform the Rail industry.
Siemens Mobility is a global market leader in rail infrastructure, shaping the future of transportation through cutting-edge technology, digital innovation, and sustainable engineering. Our Siemens Mobility UKI Central Functions business unit provides the strategic backbone, delivering essential operational, financial, and administrative support for innovative transportation solutions and projects across the UK and Ireland.
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join Siemens Mobility as a Project Procurement Manager based in Coventry or Birmingham. This position requires a willingness and flexibility to travel to different sites as and when required.
Your focus will be on delivering an effective procurement service, ensuring all Project Procurement standards and procedures are adhered to in line with Siemens policies. Key responsibilities include identifying and defining appropriate mitigation strategies for procurement risks, documenting them, and presenting these for internal review.
With an emphasis on continuous improvement, you will contribute ideas and initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the procurement function. Collaboration is another core aspect—this role involves active participation in cross-business procurement workshops, sharing best practices, and strengthening stakeholder relationships.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
