Job Description
The Project Professional supports Ridsdale Trials Engineers in planning and delivering test and evaluation trials, applying robust project management to:
- Monitor progress
- Report against customer requirements across lifecycle milestones
The role:
- Coordinates resources to meet agreed deliverables
- Maintains clear communication to manage expectations within defined scope
- Provides updates at key stages
- Tracks and reports on business metrics (e.g., sales, cash, order targets)
- Contributes to CAPEX planning and delivery through milestone governance
- Ensures timely execution, accurate reporting, and alignment with quality, performance, and compliance objectives across multiple projects
Core Duties
- Ensure delivery and cost milestones are met within internal and external project delivery
- Support commercial opportunities through estimating and acceptance processes
- Manage project system set-up/release documentation
- Facilitate weekly project review meetings and issue/mlogs (Risks/Assumptions/Issues/Dependences)
- Prepare and report on monthly project delivery status and business performance
- Support Bid Panel to track progress of new opportunities
- Support the Site Operations Manager in implementing effective CAPEX planning and monitoring tools
- Lead provision of project support to the Site Operations Manager and Trials Engineers
- fulfil any other reasonable duties within the Project Support Management (PSM) role

Essential Skills
- Demonstrable project management experience, ideally within an engineering or technical environment
- Formal project management training with working knowledge of:
- Scheduling
- Cost control
- Risk management tools (e.g., MS Project, Predict!)
- Thorough experience with SAP is desirable
- Ability to:
- Support project delivery to meet customer expectations
- Provide accurate, timely status reports for monthly T&E management reporting
- Experience in (or strong understanding of) safety-critical or regulated manufacturing environments
- Proven ability to:
- Support interface between the organisation and customers/representatives
- Conduct commercial, procurement, and project-related discussions
- Strong action management skills including:
- Defining, tracking, prioritising, and delivering actions
- Ensuring successful project outcomes
The Team
The Ridsdale Site Team consists of ~20 members, with plans to grow to 21-22. The team delivers bespoke, "mini" projects with varying scope and complexity, requiring:

- On-site engagement)
