Project Sales Executive
Location: Hybrid/Any CSG location Salary/package: £28,500 per annum plus commission Contract type: Permanent Hours: Full-Time, 37 hours per week
Due to the nature of the work being carried out, the successful candidate must hold a full UK driving license and have access to their own vehicle to enable them to travel across the UK when required.
Commercial Services Group (CSG) is looking for a dedicated and personable Project Sales Executive to join its Global Education Supplies (GES) division to play a key role in developing and converting project opportunities across our education space fit‑out brands.
Who we are
Global Education Supplies (GES) is part of the Children & Education portfolio at Commercial Services Group (CSG), comprising six complementary brands that serve the global education sector. These include KCS Education, Landscapes for Learning, Maudesport, Gresswell, Timstar and Technology Supplies. With a customer base spanning more than 90 countries, GES is entering a transformational phase focused on international growth, new product development, marketing investment and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will play a key role in driving project sales across our specialist education brands, ensuring opportunities are accurately qualified, well‑managed and progressed through to conversion. This is a role where collaboration and strong communication are essential, with responsibility for coordinating between clients, our Design team and internal stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

What you’ll be doing
- Managing a proactive pipeline of project opportunities to support consistent sales growth.
- Supporting the qualification of inbound leads to ensure alignment with project criteria.
- Preparing accurate, commercially balanced project estimates and quotations.
- Working closely with our Design team to translate client requirements into clear project briefs.
- Building strong relationships with schools, local authorities, architects and contractors.
- Supporting tender responses and contributing to framework‑based sales activity.
- Coordinating with Product and Operations teams to ensure deliverability of proposed solutions.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records to support forecasting and project tracking.
- Carrying out basic site audits and measurements during pre‑sale visits.
- Supporting safe working practices and environmental responsibility in all activities.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in specification selling or managing long‑cycle, multi‑stakeholder sales.
- Experience in built environment, education, furniture or manufacturing sectors is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical clients.
- A proactive, results‑driven approach with confidence working to KPIs.
- Commercial awareness and comfort working with revenue and margin considerations.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams.
