Carbon60 is looking to recruit an experienced Project Site Supervisor to work on a range of construction and infrastructure projects across Kent and the South East.
ROLE: Project Site Supervisor
PAY RATE: £300 per day Umbrella CIS (subject to approval)
CONTRACT TYPE: Temporary - 27th July to October (Potential for extension)
LOCATION: South Central Projects, Kent - Various sites across Kent, with occasional travel to Hampshire and Sussex when required.
HOURS: 40 hours per week (Flexibility required, with occasional evenings, nights and weekends as required)
The Role
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise the day-to-day delivery of multiple construction and refurbishment projects ranging from £50k to £600k.
- Coordinate subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
- Set up and oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
- Carry out regular site inspections, monitoring progress, workmanship and quality of completed works.
- Ensure contractors achieve key Health & Safety objectives and maintain safe working practices at all times.
- Record and maintain accurate site documentation, audit records and project reports.
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress and escalate any issues or delays to the Senior Project Manager.
- Supervise the storage, maintenance and use of materials, plant and equipment.
- Support delivery of office refurbishment, roofing and construction projects across multiple sites.
- Ensure all works comply with company policies, statutory regulations and industry standards.
- Be prepared to travel across Kent and occasionally support projects in Hampshire and Sussex when required.

Essential Skills / Experience / Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a Site Supervisor on construction or building projects.
- Valid Black, White or Gold Supervisor CSCS Card.
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
- 3-Day First Aid at Work qualification.
- Temporary Works Coordinator certification.
- Asbestos Awareness certification.
- EUSR Blue Card (National Water Hygiene) desirable (training can be provided after offer if required).
- Experience supervising subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades on site.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and construction site compliance.
- Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills.
- Ability to produce accurate site records and project documentation.
- Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle (essential).
- Ability to obtain/pass a DBS check.
- Previous experience working on water hygiene or utilities projects would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of electrical systems and building services.
- Basic knowledge of IT networks.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Good report writing and communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to obtain/pass a DBS check.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rota and occasional out-of-hours work.
