Project Associate - Defence Engineering (Bristol) – up to £45,000
About the Role
Copello have partnered with a fast-growing Defence company to recruit their next Project Support hire. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of rapid expansion while developing your career in project delivery across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project planning, governance, reporting, and documentation
- Track programme progress against cost, schedule, and risk
- Coordinate activities across engineering, commercial, finance, and support teams
- Maintain risk, issue, and action registers
- Organise meetings, workshops, and stakeholder reviews
- Support supplier management and contract administration

About You
- Relevant experience: Supporting projects or programmes in Defence, government, or regulated environments
- Technical: Experience with Primavera P6
- Soft skills: Strong organisational and communication abilities
- Knowledge: Project planning, risk management, and reporting
- Microsoft Office & project management tools proficiency
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
- Industry-specific: Experience within DE&S or MOD
- Understanding of Defence acquisition processes
- Security clearance eligibility (or ability to secure one)
