Job Opportunity at Manchester Metropolitan University

We're looking for a proactive and talented individual to join our Strategic Projects Team and help drive forward the strategic agenda of one of the UK's largest and most ambitious universities.

About the Role

You will support the delivery of some of the unique, ambitious, and transformative strategic projects within our institutional portfolio.

Our ideal candidate will have significant experience of working in a project administrative function, have a keen eye for detail, and be passionate about providing high-quality project support.

About Manchester Metropolitan University

Here at Manchester Metropolitan University, we are committed to developing an outstanding teaching and learning experience for our students, whilst also building a research-rich culture to address some of the biggest challenges facing society today. Key to delivering this agenda is our portfolio of strategic projects, which will help transform the organization and enhance our offer to students, staff, and the wider community. These represent major strategic investments by the University aimed at generating a step-change; therefore, they are typically large scale and highly complex, involving multiple stakeholders and interdependencies across the institution.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
