As a Project Support Officer, you will play a vital role in helping deliver key programmes and initiatives by providing excellent start to end project administration, coordination, planning, and communication support. Working at the heart of a busy team, you will ensure activities are effectively organised, accurately documented, and progressed in a timely manner.
This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills who enjoys managing competing priorities, building positive relationships, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. You'll work closely with colleagues across Transport for West Midlands, the West Midlands Combined Authority, and partner organisations, coordinating meetings and events, managing diaries and supporting programme activities.

What You Will Be Doing
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project, programme and process management
- Work closely with other support officers
- Deliver outstanding administrative project support including editing, reviewing, and coordinating the production and distribution of reports, briefing documents and Cabinet / Board papers
- Manage workstream documentation
- Lead on the setting up of workshops, meetings and events
- Coordinate and contribute to the development and production of event and engagement material
- Raise orders on the financial system

Location
The location for this role is 16 Summer Lane with at least 2 days a week spent in the office.

We advertise salary ranges, with new appointments typically starting at the lowest salary point. In exceptional cases, the salary point may be adjusted to secure the best candidate. This approach allows for potential year-on-year salary increases, offering progression and appropriate rewards to employees. Requests for salaries above the maximum advertised range will not be considered.
