Join Our Team as a Project Support Worker at Listening Ears Charity
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of the elderly? Do you have a warm heart and a desire to support the community? Listening Ears Charity invites dedicated individuals to apply for the position of Project Support Worker. In this role, you will work closely with our Feel Good Project Co-coordinator, ensuring the smooth running of our drop-in sessions at the Feel Good Centres.
Responsibilities
As a Project Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to support the Feel Good Project Co-coordinator in organizing and facilitating our drop-in sessions. You will engage with the elderly, providing companionship, assistance, and encouragement. Your positive attitude, empathy, and willingness to learn are crucial as you assist our service users, fostering a warm and welcoming environment.

Key Requirements
- Passion for supporting the elderly and reducing social isolation.
- Open attitude, eager to learn, and a high sense of initiative.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the Feel Good Project Co-coordinator and other team members.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to interacting with service users.
- Availability to work 10 hours a week, split over Wednesday and Friday.
Salary
We offer a competitive salary ranging from £12 to £15 per hour, commensurate with your skills and experience.
