Size Group now seek a Project Surveyor to join our Country Houses commercial team.

The Role
As a Project Surveyor, you will support the commercial delivery of our construction projects while working under the guidance of a supportive and experienced commercial team. This role is ideal for a Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career, building confidence, autonomy and exposure to higher‑value projects.
Previous high‑end residential experience is not essential; however, a strong interest in quality‑focused construction and a desire to develop within a premium environment is key.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the commercial management of the project Assist with cost control, forecasting and preparation of cost reports and CVRs Manage subcontractor accounts, including valuations, payment notices and record‑keeping Support procurement activities, including issuing enquiries, tender analysis and appointments Assist with the management of variations, change events and commercial reporting Work closely with site teams and senior surveyors to understand construction progress and cost drivers Maintain accurate commercial records to support financial reporting and final accounts Attend project meetings and develop effective working relationships with the supply chain

About You
You will ideally have:
2–3 years’ experience working in a Quantity Surveying role within construction Experience working for a main contractor or subcontractor A strong willingness to learn and develop within a supportive commercial team Good numerical, organisational and analytical skills Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with site and office teams A genuine interest in progressing into higher‑value and more complex projects Competency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel A professional attitude, attention to detail and pride in quality delivery
