Project Surveyor

Craven Arms - Hybrid

£43,435.00 per annum

Hybrid Working – at least once a week working in the Craven Arms office and once a week on site


We are looking to recruit 3 x Project Surveyors to join our Assets Management Team.

These are key positions in the Investment Team, supporting the Contract Manager in taking responsibility and leading on the delivery of a variety of the group’s investment projects to pre-defined time, quality and cost criteria within the group’s investment plan.

You will take assigned projects within the investment plan from pre-tender procurement stage through to final handover to include:

  • Preparing specifications
  • Procurement
  • Project management
  • Contract administration

Ensuring works are carried out to a high level of workmanship in accordance with contract documents, specifications and drawings and in line with relevant health and safety legislation.

Accustomed to managing budgets and liaising with external stakeholders including architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, local authorities and solicitors, you will maintain the quality of work whilst working to ensure value for money. With experience in project management, you will ensure deadlines are adhered to and that accurate information is recorded that demonstrates that investment plan spends, and programme targets and ensure compliance with audit requirements.

The Investment Team is at the heart of our 30-year investment programme on delivering excellent quality homes. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and will be an effective communicator with the ability to liaise with all stakeholders. You should have a detailed knowledge of building construction, a track record of contract and budget management, CDM & Asbestos Regulations and a good understanding of the decent homes standard. This would suit an individual with experience in building surveying or as a quantity surveyor.

This role has been identified as suitable for hybrid working which will be a combination of home working and working from our offices with Head office at Craven Arms and travel to other offices as required.
