Project Test Manager

Lab Test Means Project Manager Location: Filton, Bristol (60% onsite – flexibility required depending on project needs) Contract Duration: Until 31 December 2026 (possible extension) Hourly Rate: £45.00 per hour (Umbrella) £33.64 per hour (PAYE) Working Pattern: 35 hours per week (overtime paid at standard rate) IR35: Inside IR35

The Role An exciting contract opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lab Test Means Project Manager to support a major engineering and test programme within the aerospace sector. You will play a key role in delivering the infrastructure required for the construction, commissioning and operation of a Hydrogen Test Facility, alongside multiple test benches supporting a fuel systems test programme.

Key Responsibilities Full accountability for time, cost and quality delivery of assigned projects Definition and ownership of Statements of Work Establishing and managing project governance and structure Driving project execution using agreed KPIs and metrics Active management of risks and opportunities Reporting progress and status to internal and external stakeholders Capturing lessons learned and driving continuous improvement

Required Experience & Skills Strong background in Project / Programme Management (PMI qualification desirable) Engineering background with strong technical understanding Experience delivering engineering or test infrastructure projects Confident stakeholder management at all levels, including suppliers and customers Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced, complex environment Experience working within transnational / multi‑site teams Excellent communication skills and a high level of professional agility
