Salary: £55,000-£60,000 + Progression Potential, Hybrid Working, Training, 33 Days Holiday + Flexitime, Discount Reward Scheme Location: Nottingham


About the Role

Are you a Project Manager with a background in Civil Engineering, Highways, or Construction, looking for a dynamic environment to contribute to large-scale highway projects? If so, this opportunity may be perfect for you.

In this position, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing multi-million-pound highway projects across Nottinghamshire, including road traffic improvements and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Overseeing risk management, stakeholder negotiations, and project delivery.
  • Mentoring and managing a Project Engineer team.

This company specialises in the design, construction, and maintenance of highway systems, including infrastructure improvements, electrical works, and road development. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of highway improvements across Nottinghamshire.
  • Conduct hands-on management of large-scale, high-value highway projects.
  • Ensure risk and safety compliance in all project phases.
  • Lead the mentoring and management of a team of Project Engineers.
  • Operate within standard office hours (9 AM – 5 PM, Monday – Friday, 37 hours) with flexibility in working hours available.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager with a Civil Engineering, Highways, or Construction background.
  • References can be expected. A candidate report (reference number: BBBH 26102) is required.
