Projects Quality Manager
Location: Stanlow Manufacturing Complex, Ellesmere Port
Employment Type: Site Based Full Time Role, 5 days per week, Monday-Friday

EET (Essar Energy Transition) vision is to be the leading producer of low carbon fuels and establish a blueprint energy transition hub in the North West. EET plays a major role in supplying the Northwest and the wider UK with essential fuels. About the Role
You will lead the development, certification and delivery of a project-focused Quality Management System (QMS) across a major capital programme, ensuring full alignment with ISO 9001 and ISO 10005 requirements.

This role is central to embedding quality assurance across EPC contractors, international suppliers and third-party inspection bodies, ensuring all deliverables meet contractual, regulatory and notified body standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieving and maintaining ISO 9001 certification for project quality systems
- Establishing a lifecycle-based Project Quality Management System (PrMO) and Quality Management Plans
- Leading a risk-based audit programme across internal teams, EPC contractors and suppliers
- Acting as lead internal auditor and quality authority for clients, regulators and certification bodies
- Managing non-conformance processes, root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Overseeing inspection, NDT and dimensional compliance across global supply chains and module yards
- Assuring the suitability of third-party inspectors and notified bodies (including PED requirements)
- Driving quality performance, reporting and continuous improvement across EPC delivery
You will also contribute to supplier development, lessons learned and cost-of-poor-quality reduction, using structured improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
About You
You are an experienced quality leader with experience of being involved in large scale, high value projects, ideally in energy, oil & gas, hydrogen or other regulated industries.

You bring a proven ability to build and implement ISO-aligned quality systems in complex, multi-contractor environments, with strong oversight of both project delivery and supply chain quality.
You will demonstrate:
- Expertise in ISO 9001 implementation and auditing, with Lead Auditor qualification
- Strong understanding of EPC quality deliverables, including ITPs, inspections and documentation control
- Experience managing supplier quality and third-party inspections across international supply chains
- A track record of delivering audit programmes and regulatory engagement
- Advanced capability in non-conformance management, root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks and relevant notified body requirements (e.g. PED)
- Ability to translate quality standards into practical, adoptable project systems
You are comfortable operating at both strategic and delivery level, engaging senior stakeholders while ensuring rigorous quality execution across projects.
A relevant degree and progress toward or achievement of Chartered Quality Professional status are expected.
