Property Accounting & Projects Manager
Property Accounting & Projects Manager
Fixed Term Contract: 18 months (end date: 18th December 2027) Location: Dunstable Head Office, LU5 Working Model: Hybrid (3 days a week in the office)
As a Property Accounting & Projects Manager, you’ll hold a pivotal role in delivering best-in-class financial reporting and operational control for the Group’s Property strategy. Ownership resides in ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and integrity in fixed-asset and lease accounting—particularly across key transformation initiatives.
Through close collaboration with the Financial Reporting & Controls (FR&C) team, you will uphold rigorous reporting standards, embed strong controls, and offer clear insights into disposals, write-offs, depreciation adjustments, and strategic property site activity. With direct exposure to external auditors, a commensurate obligation for statutory compliance, and opportunities to drive process transformation in Oracle Fusion, this role will afford significant influence over the company’s property risk management, governance enhancement, and value realisation across major initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing
Financial Reporting Integrity
- Assume ownership of the end-to-end accuracy, completeness, and statutory compliance for all fixed-asset and lease reporting in property projects.
- Ensure specialised transactions are correctly accounted for and appropriately captured within relevant business entities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
