Be part of one of the Midlands' most exciting property success stories. We're partnering with an ambitious, entrepreneurial property investment and asset management business that has earned an outstanding reputation for acquiring, repositioning, and managing high-profile commercial assets across the UK. With significant investment behind them, an expanding portfolio, and exciting plans for continued growth across the Midlands, they're looking to appoint a talented Property & Asset Management Surveyor to oversee a prestigious Birmingham-based portfolio.

The Role

You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day property and asset management of a portfolio of landmark commercial assets across Birmingham and the wider Midlands, ensuring operational excellence while identifying opportunities to maximise value and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing landlord and tenant relationships across a premium commercial portfolio.
  • Driving proactive asset management initiatives to maximise income and enhance capital values.
  • Managing lease events including rent reviews, lease renewals, regears, and lease negotiations.

  • Preparing and overseeing service charge budgets, operational expenditure, and financial reporting.
  • Identifying value-add opportunities through leasing strategies, refurbishments, and active asset management initiatives.
  • Supporting acquisitions, disposals, and wider investment projects as the portfolio continues to grow.

  • Ensuring statutory compliance, risk management, and operational best practice across the portfolio.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
