£23,211 per annum based on a 35 hour working week
We are seeking a proactive and organised Property Compliance Assistant to support the delivery of statutory property compliance across our Adult Social Care services. You will play an important role in helping ensure our supported living services, and other properties remain safe, compliant, and well maintained.
Reporting directly to the Property Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for aspects of Autism Initiatives Housing Services statutory and regulatory compliance, maintaining and updating our databases to accurately record and evidence organisational compliance within regulatory, statutory and the organisations policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure statutory regulatory compliance is maintained by organising and overseeing:
- Fire safety systems
- Gas safety
- Electrical testing
- Water hygiene (Legionella)
- Asbestos management
- Lifting equipment and other statutory inspections
- Liaise with contractors, service managers, and internal teams to arrange access and schedule works.
- Produce compliance reports and performance information for management.
- Ensure documentation is stored accurately and in line with organisational policies.

About You
This is a perfect opportunity for a recent graduate, with an interest in housing and compliance. You will be highly organised with excellent administrative and communication skills. You will have the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Ideally you will be working towards a recognised housing qualification.
This position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The cost of which will be met by Autism Initiatives.
