Property Compliance Contracts Manager

Salary: £52,418 per annum
Location: Mobile Worker - Located in the North West of England

This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy

The Vacancy

  • Location: Mobile Worker – Located in the North West of England
  • Hours: Full time - 35 hours per week/ 70 hours over two weeks (nine-day fortnight)

The Role

Help us keep residents safe and our homes compliant.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Property Compliance Contracts Manager to lead the planning, delivery, and assurance of property compliance across our PFI housing portfolio. This is a pivotal role where you will ensure our homes remain safe, and fully compliant with all statutory and regulatory requirements.

Working collaboratively with contractors, partners, and internal teams, you will oversee the delivery of compliance programmes, monitor contractor performance, and ensure works are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will provide expert assurance on property compliance across our Oldham PFI housing portfolio, supporting our ongoing compliance with legal obligations while delivering high-quality homes and services for our residents.

This is an opportunity to make a real difference by protecting residents, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the highest standards of property compliance. If you have a strong background in compliance management, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a passion for delivering safe, quality homes, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a Mobile role where the successful application must live within the North West of England. There will also be occasional nationwide travel required for meetings and training as and when required.

What We’re Looking For

The essential requirements for the role include:

  • Knowledge of statutory property compliance and health and safety related legislation and best practice, with a background in a housing or property setting
  • Professional knowledge and/or experience of contract procurement
  • Proven experience of managing contractors and contracts within a similar environment
  • Experience of managing multiple contract areas simultaneously
  • Experience of working with external suppliers and internal teams to rectify any problems in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Ability to conduct independent investigations, identify concerns and propose solutions
  • Evidence of information gathering, reporting and monitoring of data
  • Experience of managing budgets and budgetary control techniques
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to utilise sophisticated computerised maintenance systems
  • Commercial awareness, ensuring statutory compliance is achieved, whilst maintaining value for money
  • Experience of working effectively under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating logical and methodical work techniques to prioritise and plan effectively
  • Educated to degree level or relevant experience
  • Willingness to take on further training if required to meet essential competency standards

As part of our commitment to our employees and offering flexibility, we now offer a nine-day fortnight, providing employees with the opportunity to work their hours across nine days and have a three-day weekend every other week. Further details on how this works will be discussed with successful candidates upon an offer being made.

An offer of employment will be subject to the satisfactory completion of a basic disclosure check, satisfactory references, and induction training.
