Property & Construction Project Manager

Construction & Property Project Coordinator

Location: South Wales (Remote - Occasional Site Visits) Contract Type: Initial 3-month contract, expected extensions to 2028 Rate: £26.35 per hour Hours: 37-hour working week Flexibility: Fully remote working, flexible arrangements Industry Engagement: Regeneration, development & infrastructure projects


About the Role

Work on a high-profile regeneration and development programme, supporting investment and property/infrastructure projects across South Wales. Collaborate with:

  • Local authorities
  • Education providers
  • Developers
  • Funding partners

Help bring forward economic growth, employment and community-focused projects, guiding schemes from concept to funding approval and delivery.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

As a Construction & Property Project Coordinator, you’ll act as a stakeholder liaison, ensuring seamless progress across projects including:

  • Industrial units
  • Commercial developments
  • College facilities
  • Refurbishment schemes
  • Repurposed buildings
  • Regeneration initiatives

Core responsibilities include:

  • Stakeholder coordination: Engage with local authorities, development partners, and funding providers.
  • Project scoping: Identify and progress development opportunities.
  • Documentation support: Prepare business cases, funding applications, reports, and briefing papers.
  • Decision-making: Gather/project reviews to guide investment choices.
  • Progress tracking: Monitor project milestones and follow-up with delivery partners.
  • Relationship-building: Develop connections with consultants, property professionals, and external stakeholders.
  • Risk & barrier identification: Proactively resolve development challenges.

Essential Requirements

  • Background: Experience in construction, property, building surveying, estates, regeneration, or development.
  • Lifecycle knowledge: Understanding of building development stages and key milestones.
  • Stakeholder management: Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and advance projects efficiently.
  • Technical writing: Strong skills in report writing, project documentation, and business case preparation.
  • Flexibility & autonomy: Proven ability to work independently while managing varied workloads.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Specialised experience in:
    • Building surveying
    • Project management
    • Estates management
  • Sector familiarity: Working knowledge of local authorities or public sector collaboration.
  • Funding expertise: Exposure to grant funding, regeneration, or development programmes.
  • Multi-disciplinary exposure: Comfort working alongside architects, engineers, and contractors.
