About RVA Surveyors
RVA Surveyors are one of the UK’s leading independent business rates reduction specialists. We help commercial property owners and occupiers reduce their historic, current and future business rates liabilities.
Business rates are one of the largest overheads faced by UK businesses, yet many organisations are unaware that they may be paying more than they should. Our expert team works on behalf of clients to identify savings and challenge inaccurate assessments where appropriate.
To date, we have worked with more than 50,000 commercial properties, securing over £400 million in business rates savings for our clients.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an ambitious and motivated Property Consultant to join our growing field sales team.
This is a permanent, full-time employed position offering a £32,000 basic salary, uncapped commission with realistic On Target Earnings of £60,000, plus a car allowance.
You’ll attend pre-booked, face-to-face appointments with commercial property owners and decision makers, introducing our services, carrying out an initial property assessment and securing signed instructions for our specialist surveying team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
