About the Role

About the BI & Data Storytelling team

Responsible for transforming data, analysis, and AI outputs into visually engaging and actionable insights. These outputs are created for clients across multiple sectors and industries to improve business and marketing performance. This is a varied role in a high-performing and high-profile team that plays a crucial role in delivering on CACI’s mission of "doing amazing things with data" by helping the brands we work with turn data and analysis into actionable insights.

About the role

This research executive role sits within CACI’s BI & Data Storytelling team, where research, data, and insight come together to drive real-world decisions. You’ll lead the delivery of primary research projects from end-to-end, working with clients to design robust research approaches and translating business questions into effective methodologies.

Beyond delivery, you’ll play a key role in evolving how we do research, bringing fresh thinking, new methodologies, and integrating research with wider data and analytics outputs.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Coordinate and track multiple concurrent consumer research projects across clients
  • Manage project set-up, timelines, and delivery with research partners
  • Track fieldwork progress and ensure smooth execution

Design & Methodology

  • Design surveys and question sets aligned to client objectives
  • Set up qualitative recruitment criteria and discussion guides
  • Moderate qualitative research sessions where appropriate

Client & Supplier Management

  • Work with clients to shape research briefs and approaches
  • Manage relationships with research partners, including supplier performance reviews
  • Negotiate costs and timelines with support from Business Operations

Innovation

  • Identify and introduce new quantitative and qualitative research approaches
  • Improve how research integrates with wider analytics and insight outputs

Requirements

The ideal candidate, as well as being a highly motivated self-starter, will have the following skills:

  • Previous experience in a research executive role, including survey writing and design
  • Previous experience of organising and facilitating focus groups
  • Excellent written/verbal English
  • High attention to detail, and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to multi-task, quickly jumping from one project to another
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to engage stakeholders of all levels
  • A problem-solver
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of, and interest in, the retail sector
  • Training through MRS or equivalent (optional)
