Company description
TheSqua.re is a global serviced apartment provider operating across 900+ cities with more than 500,000 properties worldwide. Through our MySquare division, we work with local authorities, housing associations, and organisations to deliver flexible, high-quality accommodation for people who need it most, whether that's emergency relocations, decant programmes, or crisis housing placements. We combine the scale and professionalism of a global property business with a genuine commitment to providing stable housing solutions when it matters most.
About the role
This full-time role is a commercially driven, socially impactful role, based in the heart of our London. As Property Growth & Acquisitions Manager, you'll be responsible for building and expanding our residential portfolio - sourcing properties, securing leases, and forging lasting relationships with landlords, developers, and housing partners.
A significant part of your remit will focus on block leasing, securing entire buildings or groups of units on flexible 3–12 month terms to support emergency relocations, decant programmes, and crisis housing initiatives. You'll be the bridge between commercial property expertise and real-world housing solutions, working with partners who need reliable, fast-turnaround accommodation at scale.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
