Job Description

Property Innovation & Change Team Lawyer

Location: Any UK office

Join us to combine legal excellence with innovation to transform property law delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity for a property lawyer looking to develop a differentiated and future-focused career, combining technical legal expertise and client service excellence with innovation, technology and change management within one of the profession’s leading innovation teams.

As a member of the Property Innovation & Change Team, you'll work alongside lawyers, technologists and innovation specialists to identify opportunities for transformation and implement solutions that enhance the delivery of legal services. You'll collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders, helping to drive innovation initiatives that improve efficiency, consistency and client experience across the Property Group.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a commercially minded and forward-thinking real estate lawyer who is passionate about delivering exceptional client outcomes and exploring new ways of working. This is a unique opportunity to join our Property Innovation & Change Team, where you'll combine your strong transactional legal expertise with innovation, process improvement and technology to help shape how legal services are delivered across our global Property Group. Working at the intersection of legal practice, client delivery and transformation, you'll play a key role in designing smarter, more efficient and impactful solutions for both our people and our clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Play a central role in shaping how legal services are delivered across our global Property Group.
  • Identify and drive opportunities to transform legal service delivery across the global Property Group.
  • Design and implement technology-enabled and process-driven improvements across legal matters.
  • Work directly with senior stakeholders, partners and clients, helping to identify strategic opportunities for transformation, develop and implement innovative legal service solutions and influence how innovative solutions are adopted at scale.
  • Collaborate with lawyers, legal technologists and innovation specialists to scope, develop and deploy new solutions in a genuinely multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Support the adoption of new tools and ways of working through training and change initiatives.
  • Contribute to business development activity, including proposals and pitches focused on innovative delivery models.
  • Measure and report on the success of innovation initiatives, supporting continuous improvement and scaling of solutions.
  • Develop expertise in legal innovation, change management and solution design, building skills that position you at the forefront of modern legal practice.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

  • A minimum of 6 years' PQE and qualification in England & Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland.
  • Strong transactional commercial real estate experience and a deep understanding of legal service delivery.
  • A commercially focused and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to translate legal requirements into practical, technology-enabled solutions.
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding client service and improving client outcomes.
  • An interest in legal technology, innovation and the future of legal services, alongside a willingness to embrace new ways of working. Experience of legal technology process improvement or innovation initiatives is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and bring others on a journey of change.
  • Experience building effective relationships with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across different teams and disciplines.
  • A proactive, adaptable and curious approach, with enthusiasm for driving innovation and continuous improvement.
