About the Role
Our client, a leading insurance provider, is seeking an experienced Account Executive to manage a Residential Property Owners portfolio. This key role combines technical broking expertise with a proactive approach to relationship management, with a focus on servicing a long-standing client who has a Captive placement structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with a strategic market and client base, with a particular focus on the Residential Property Owners sector.
- Captive Structure Management: While the candidate will not be involved in the technical setup of the Captive, the role requires placing the client's business within the structure.
- Renewal & New Business: Ensure renewals are managed proactively
- Strategic Market Engagement: The candidate will work closely with one key market, maintaining strong, consistent relationships through regular meetings and communication.
- Client Engagement: Regular meetings will be required with various levels within the client’s organisation, including visiting the parent company once per month and one of the Property Manager offices ideally on a monthly basis.
- Business Development: A key part of the role is to grow the Captive and develop new business opportunities related to Property Management and other areas throughout the year.

Key Requirements
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Residential Property Owners Insurance is essential.
- Captive Knowledge: While familiarity with a Captive placement structure would be advantageous, it is not mandatory.
- Relationship Management: Ability to manage and develop key relationships, ensuring service excellence and client satisfaction.
- Renewal and New Business Focus: Proactive in managing renewals and engaging with new business opportunities.

Ideal Candidate
- Demonstrates experience in managing Property Owners insurance, ideally within a Captive structure.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with a focus on client retention, new business development, and service excellence.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a portfolio efficiently, ensuring all client needs are met.
