Job Summary
Reporting to the Team Manager/Head of Centre, Leaders is seeking a Property Inventory Clerk to join our dedicated and dynamic team in Southend on Sea. Experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.
As a Property Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting detailed Inventory reports to ensure a smooth check-in/check-out process for tenants and landlords.
- Performing mid-term inspections to maintain properties in the highest possible condition.
- Working both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
- Arrange and book property inspections with tenants (average: 4-5 inspections or 2-3 inventories per day).
- Confirm visit details before attending sites.
- Collect and return keys from local offices.
- Conduct inspections, ensuring checks of:
- External condition of properties.
- Communal areas (if applicable).
- Internal condition.
- Compliance with current legislation.
- Risk assessments.
- Complete inspection reports and approval process.
- Feed back any maintenance issues to the property manager.
- Submit reports to both landlords and tenants, including a written summary. Call ahead if issues are noted.
- Diarise follow-ups for the property manager.
What We Are Looking For
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Ability and confidence to work independently.
- Strong organisational skills, time management and attention to detail.
- A full UK Driving License is required.
