Property Litigation Solicitor

Birmingham | Leading Regional Law Firm | Hybrid Working | Salary DOE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Property Litigation Solicitor to join a highly regarded regional law firm with a strong reputation across the Midlands market. Known for its collaborative culture and high-quality client work, the firm is continuing to invest in the growth of its specialist Property Disputes team.

This role would suit a solicitor with solid experience in property litigation who is looking to take on quality work within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

The Role

You will handle a broad range of contentious property matters acting for commercial clients, landowners, developers, and private individuals. The caseload is likely to include:

  • Commercial landlord & tenant disputes
  • Boundary and rights of way disputes
  • Dilapidations claims
  • Possession proceedings
  • Property contract disputes
  • Residential and commercial property litigation matters

You will work closely with experienced senior lawyers while also having the autonomy to manage your own files and build strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied property litigation caseload from instruction through to resolution
  • Advising clients on strategy, risks, and commercial outcomes
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and settlement documentation
  • Representing clients in negotiations, mediation, and court proceedings
  • Maintaining strong and lasting client relationships
  • Supporting networking and business development initiatives
  • Collaborating with colleagues across wider real estate and disputes teams

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor with experience in property litigation/dispute resolution
  • Strong technical drafting and analytical skills
  • Commercially aware with a pragmatic approach to resolving disputes
  • Confident managing matters independently
  • Excellent client care and communication skills
  • Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing team
