Property Litigator (2-5 PQE)

Birmingham (Hybrid/Flexible Working Available)

Competitive salary

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Property Litigator to join a well-established Dispute Resolution team in Birmingham.

This role will suit a Solicitor or Legal Executive with around 2–5 years’ PQE, although applications are welcomed from candidates outside this range who can demonstrate the relevant experience and expertise.

  • Role Summary:
    • Handle a broad range of property litigation matters for both commercial and private clients.
    • Work on a varied and interesting caseload.
    • Experience in contentious landlord and tenant matters, acting for both landlords and tenants in residential and commercial property disputes.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Manage your own caseload.
    • Advise clients on strategy.
    • Draft legal documentation.
    • Conduct negotiations.
    • Undertake advocacy where appropriate.
    • Strong client care skills are essential.
  • Skills and Qualifications:

    • Experience in boundary disputes, general property litigation, TOLATA claims, and professional negligence claims relating to property.
    • Experience in wider commercial litigation would be advantageous.
    • Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
    • Comfortable working to deadlines in a busy environment.
    • Commercially aware, organized, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
