About the Role

Looking for a stable, long-term role where no two days are the same?

We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing residential property business that manages a large portfolio of HMOs and shared living accommodation primarily across South West London. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for an experienced Property Maintenance Operative to join their close-knit team.

  • Enjoys variety in their work
  • Takes pride in their workmanship
  • Seeks the stability of a permanent Monday to Friday role with fixed working hours

The Role

You’ll be responsible for maintaining a portfolio of residential properties, carrying out a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance. Your day will be organised in advance, with jobs scheduled for you, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality repairs and excellent service.

This role is about much more than simply fixing problems. The team are looking for someone who can:

  • Identify the root cause of maintenance issues
  • Recommend practical solutions
  • Communicate clearly with the Property Management team to help keep their portfolio running efficiently

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
