Financial Accountant – Arora Group Property Finance Team
Location: Heathrow Area (5 days in the office – fully office based) Industry: Hospitality & Property Finance

The Role
As a member of the Arora Group Property Finance Team, you will play a critical role in financial reporting, analysis, and control for the group’s retail and property portfolios. This is a fully office-based position (5 days at Heathrow Area) with key responsibilities including:
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly Management Accounts & Periodic Financial Statements
- Prepare profit & loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct variance analysis and commentary for allocated companies (including all retail entities).
- Cash Flow & Budgeting
- Produce weekly cash flow forecasts.
- Develop and manage annual budgets.
- Compliance & Controls
- Adhere to all group accounting & statutory policies.
- Ensure financial control and reporting excellence.
- Business Forecasting & Stakeholder Liaison
- Provide month-end packs and business forecasts to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with Arora Property Division to contextualise financial data against business shifts.

Core Workareas
- Variance Review: Full analysis of trial balance, variance commentary, and financial accuracy.
- Property Agent Data: Review and validate leasing data, ensuring rental income and invoicing completeness align with lease terms and market reality.
- Balance Sheet Precision: Maintenance of property stock, work-in-progress, debtors/creditors.
- Process Improvement & Stakeholder Engagement: Initiate policy-driven efficiencies and foster effective communication at senior levels.
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications/Experience
- Qualified in accounting (preferred):
- CIMA, ACA, or ACCA is a strong preference.
- Specialised Property/Retail Sounding:
- Proven track record in management accounting, ideally in property, retail, or asset-heavy sectors.
- Technical Excellency:
- Exceptional attention to detail, fast-paced, and agile with large datasets.
- Preference for prior property service charge accounting experience.
- Compliance & Lease Awareness:
- Ability to ** Analyse lease agreements** and assess financial impact.
- Stakeholder & Business Partnering:
- Strong written and oral communication.
- Proactive, problem-solving approach to process optimisation.
- Competencies:
- Independent yet collaborative work ethic.
- Adaptable to pressure, competing deadlines, and fast-paced environments.

Essential Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel/Word skills).
- Knowledge in UK GAAP and property-specific accounting.
- Advantageous: Microsoft Dynamics or equivalent accounting software.
Language
- Fluent in English.
Prefers (Not Mandatory)
- CIMA OR ACCA qualification.
