Property Management Accountant
The Arora Group is one of the largest private owner and operator of hotels in the UK, with over 6000 rooms in operation across 12 Global Brands, including Marriott, Hilton, Accor, IHG and Radisson portfolios. This role is fully office based (5 days per week) in Heathrow Airport Area.
As a member of Arora Group Property Finance Team, this role is responsible for preparing monthly management accounts and periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries for their allocated companies, which will include all retail entities. The role will also require the preparation of weekly cash flow forecasts, annual budgets and periodic compliance reporting. The individual must comply with all group accounting & statutory policies and ensure a rigorous financial control and reporting environment.

Production of monthly management accounts for allocated group companies, including all retail entities. Procedures include a full review of the trial balance and the preparation of variance analysis with clear, accurate commentary. Review and validate property agent data, ensuring reported figures align with expectations, lease terms, and commercial reality, including verification of rental income and invoicing completeness. Strong balance sheet control, including property stock, work in progress, and debtors/creditors. Provide month-end packs & business forecasting to assist with management decision making. Liaise with other functional managers, especially the Arora Property Division to put the finances and management accounts in context and reflect the latest business changes impacting finance.

Key Skills Required
Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA is a strong preference Strong experience in management accounting, ideally within property, retail, or asset‑based businesses. Proven ability to work quickly, with large, highly detailed datasets and maintain exceptional attention to detail. Experience with property service charge accounting is a strong preference Ability to interpret lease agreements and translate terms into financial impact Comfortable working independently, under pressure, and able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills both in writing and orally with experience business partnering and managing stakeholders Proactive and demonstrates initiative Curious with skills in problem solving and process improvement A team player who is helpful, enthusiastic and able to work well with others Proficient in Microsoft office products such as Excel and Word Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics or other similar well-known accounting packages is advantageous. Understanding of UK GAAP and property‑specific accounting standards Fully office based
