Property Management Officer
Salary Range: £38,976 - £47,229 per annum Position: Permanent – Full Time (36 hours) Location: Putney Bridge Road
Can you deliver first-class service for our homeless families living in temporary accommodation?
The Property Management Team ensures that properties for temporary accommodation residents are suitable and well-maintained. Your key responsibilities include addressing repair issues promptly—with a strong focus on eliminating damp and mould.
You'll join a dynamic service where every day brings new challenges and rewarding opportunities. You'll support vulnerable families while building strong relationships with service users, private landlords, repair teams, and wider service providers.
Your role requires proactive problem-solving—not just on-site, but in the office. You could handle neighbour disputes, repairs, safety concerns, and suitability issues, ensuring families' needs are prioritised. Organisational skills will help you balance case management efficiently.
Alongside, you’ll conduct health and safety inspections, ensuring properties and their surrounding areas are secure for residents.
This role demands resilience as service users often face challenging situations. Empathy and focus on delivering excellent care during difficult times are critical.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
