Boxall Brown & Jones is an independent firm of Chartered Valuation Surveyors, Estate Agents, and Lettings Agents, established for over 30 years and focused on residential property sales and lets. The Derby headquarters is located near Pride Park with convenient access to the city center, while the Belper office is just a short walk from the town’s Market Place, providing friendly, professional support at both locations.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Derby. The Job Title will support day-to-day estate and lettings activities, including liaising with clients, coordinating property viewings, and assisting with sales and lettings processes. Responsibilities may include:

The role involves regular communication with buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants to provide clear information, respond to inquiries, and ensure a positive customer experience. The Job Title will work closely with the wider team to help meet department targets and uphold professional standards in line with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and client relationship skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and in writing.
  • Organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple properties, appointments, and administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Competence with office software, CRM systems, and digital tools used for property marketing, record-keeping, and communication.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing documentation, property descriptions, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Knowledge or interest in the residential property market and local area; prior experience in estate agency or lettings is an advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, take initiative, and adapt to a busy, client-focused environment.
  • Professional, reliable, and ethically minded, with a commitment to upholding industry standards and company policies.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in property, customer service, or business administration are beneficial; willingness to undertake further professional development is welcomed.
