Along with our highly successful Lettings Department, we also encompass the following services – Residential Sales, Commercial Sales & Lettings, Investments & Developments and Serviced Apartments. The company is based in central London and you will be required to work in the office Monday to Friday between 9am and 6pm. Who wouldn’t want to be in the best city in the world every day? Additionally, you may need to work out of hours on emergencies that may arise.

The Role

Exciting opportunity to work for creative, forward-thinking, independent, boutique Real Estate Advisors based in the Central London. We are looking for an enthusiastic Property Manager to join our successful Residential Lettings department.

The successful applicant will be highly organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deliver an exceptional level of customer and client service.

Working with like-minded and ambitious individuals, the role will include but will not be limited to:

  • Liaising with tenants, landlords and contractors, and handling general enquiries
  • Arranging quotes for repairs and maintenance on behalf of landlords, and overseeing works
  • Coordinating larger refurbishment projects
  • Appointing, vetting and managing contractors
  • Organising and monitoring compliance checks
  • Authorising invoices
  • Managing insurance claims on behalf of overseas landlords
  • Carrying out regular property inspections and preparing detailed reports, including follow-up correspondence with landlords and tenants
  • Maintaining and updating the property management database
  • Organising move-outs and coordinating check-outs
  • Reviewing check-out reports, assessing deductions and advising landlords accordingly
  • Finalising deposits, closing tenancies on the system and completing de-registrations
  • Providing guidance on, and applying for, HMO and selective licences on behalf of landlords
  • Managing utilities and council tax accounts for managed properties
  • Negotiating rent reviews in line with current legislation, including the Renters’ Rights Act

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in property management or a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Good numerical ability
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • A flexible attitude and willingness to support across the wider team where needed
  • Professional appearance and approach
  • Solid understanding of lettings legislation, including the Renters’ Rights Act

  • Birthday Voucher – during 1st year of employment = £50, 2nd year = £75, 3rd year = £100, 4th year = £150, 5th year = £200 which continues till 10th year = £300 each year.
  • Holiday entitlement increases after 3 years in employment. At 3 years you will be awarded 2 additional days, at 6 years another 3 additional days and at 10 years an additional 5 days.
  • Added bonus after 10 years in employment = weekend away paid for by the company.
