Property Manager – Chinese Speaker

Location Manchester (Office-Based)

Salary £25,000–£28,000 basic + bonus Job Type Full-time


About the Role

We are currently partnering with a fast-growing, highly reputable residential property business to recruit an experienced Property Manager who speaks Chinese for their Manchester team.

Our client has established a strong reputation within the property sector through their modern approach to property management, robust operational processes, and commitment to delivering an exceptional service to both landlords and residents. With continued growth, they are now seeking a proactive and organised Property Manager to oversee a residential portfolio.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of residential properties from move-in through to tenancy completion
  • Act as the primary point of contact for both landlords and tenants
  • Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, tenancy renewals and relevant administrative tasks
  • Manage maintenance issues, including instructing contractors and ensuring works are completed efficiently
  • Monitor property compliance, including gas safety, EICRs, inspections, and other statutory requirements
  • Conduct routine property inspections and provide detailed feedback to landlords -Support with arrears management and tenancy-related issues as required
  • Maintain accurate tenancy records and compliance documentation
  • Work closely with internal teams to minimise void periods and maintain occupancy levels
  • Provide regular updates to landlords regarding tenancy performance, maintenance, and property matters

What We’re Looking For

  • Chinese proficiency – Essential
  • Previous experience within residential property management, lettings, Build-to-Rent (BTR), Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), or agency environments
  • Strong understanding of tenancy legislation and property compliance
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Confident communication skills, with a professional and proactive approach
  • Ability to independently manage a busy portfolio
  • Experience with property management systems (e.g. Reapit, Goodlord) – desirable
