Day-to-day of the role

  • Managing a portfolio of residential properties.
  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with leaseholders, residents, clients and contractors.
  • Coordinating maintenance and repair works, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Arranging property inspections and following up on any required actions.
  • Managing budgets, service charge expenditure and contractor invoices.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety and property legislation.
  • Handling resident enquiries and resolving issues professionally and effectively.
  • Working closely with internal teams to deliver a first-class property management service.

Skills you need

  • Experience as a Property Manager or Assistant Property Manager
  • A genuine desire to progress your career into a fully-fledged Property Manager role if you’re currently at Assistant level.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and relationship management.
  • Good knowledge of residential property management and relevant legislation (desirable).
  • A full UK driving licence (preferred).
