Property Manager | Bushey
Our well-established and growing client is seeking a Property Manager to oversee and manage a shared portfolio of residential properties in Bushey.
As the Property Manager, you will:
- Ensure smooth operations
- Maintain tenant satisfaction
- Enforce compliance with regulations
- Coordinate all aspects of property management, includingtenance, budgeting, and tenant/landlord relations
Job Benefits
- Salary: Up to £33k, depending on experience
- Hours: Mon–Fri 9am–5.30pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays with time off in lieu
Key Responsibilities

Property Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple residential properties
- Ensure properties are well-maintained and run efficiently

Landlord & Tenant Relations
- Maintain positive relationships with tenancy and property owners
- Address concerns or issues promptly

Contractor Management
- Select, manage, and develop relationships with service providers
- Ensure efficient property operation through contractors

Maintenance Coordination
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests
- Schedule regular repairs and inspections
- Conduct site visits as needed
- Oversee compliance with workng property standards
- Manage mid-term inspections and follow-ups

Financial Management
- Oversee rent collection, timely payments, and late payment resolution
- Prepare property reports
- Maintain ongoing rent guarantees and process claims

Compliance
- Ensure all residential properties adhere to statutory regulations

Renewals & Terminations
- Handle renewal and buy-out processes, including:
- Final inspections
- Move-out procedures
- Deposit dilapidations
- Dispute resolution

Requirements
Core skills and experience include:
- Proven experience in property management
- Strong understanding of lettings and property procedures
- Hands-on experience with:
- Maintenance issues
- Safety certificates
- Eviction notices (Section 8/21)
- Exceptional customer service with an ability to:
- Build rapport
- Cultivate professional relationships
- Communicate clearly over the phone
- Strong organisation & prioritisation skills
- Excellent problem-solving under pressure
- A full driving licence, with access to an own vehicle
